Hello!! Happy Saturday to all of you!!
A friend wanted me to make her a wedding card, and her favorite color is purple, so I wanted to make something with that in mind for today's project. I decided to use the stamp set Be Who You Want from Unity Stamp Co. for today's card because I love the wooden heart in the bouquet of flowers which reminds me of love! First I stamped the image with black Memento ink and then used my Scan N Cut to cut out the image since the stamp set does not have a coordinating die. I then colored the image with my Copics using V17, V15, V12, YG67, YG25, YG01, E47, E44, and E43. After I got the definition I wanted, I then decided to use one of my Gina Marie Designs background dies to add some more definition to the card. I went with white since this is a wedding card, and then I glued the background card panel onto the 110lb white card base using Bearly Art glue. I then went with my favorite wedding sentiment from Stampin Up's stamp set Word Play and stamped it with Royal Treatment ink from Catherine Pooler onto a white strip of cardstock, stamping it on the right side of the strip. I then popped up the colored flower image using foam tape on the left side of the card half covering the rest of the card strip that the sentiment was stamped on. I then added some bling I had from Queen & Co to complete the look! My friend LOVES the card which makes me happy. I hope you all like it too! Have a great Saturday and I will see you tomorrow for Mother's Day. I am going to post one of my FAVORITE cards I have made this week! Happy Crafting Y'all!! |
