Love You Bunches!

Happy Mother's Day to all of you mommy's out there! Today is a bright and sunny day here in Northern Cali and I am going to enjoy some sun later today and go to a local plant sale. Before I go, I wanted to share my most FAVORITE card that I have made in the last couple of months. I LOVE this card! It came out exactly how I envisioned it and that does not always happen! LOL!
Let me introduce you to Trinity Stamps, and I think you will agree with me when I say WOW! I love this floral stamp and the background stamp! I knew I had to have it as soon as I seen it! So let's get started!
First, I wanted to make this a rainbow colored card, so I got out my mini DewDrop Memento inks. The ink pad is the perfect size to stamp the Slimline Leafy Background stamp by Trinity Stamps since I wanted to make it a rainbow colored background. I started with the color Lady Bug, then followed with Tangelo, Dandelion, Teal Zeal, Danube Blue, Grape Jelly and Bamboo Leaves using my Misti since I needed to stamp a few times to get the look I wanted. I then cut the cardstock down along the stamped image. I then stamped the Love You Bunches floral image with black Memento ink and then die cut it out with the coordinating die. I colored this beautiful image with my Copics with colors: Y19, Y08, Y06, Y00, YR09, YR16, YR16, R59, R46, R43, YG67, YG25, YG01, V09, V06, B39, B32, BG78, BG57, and BG11. I wanted to use the same colors as I used in the rainbow colored background! I then went through all of my scrap pieces of cardstock to find red, yellow, orange, green, teal, blue and purple so I could create a border behind the stamped background card panel. I wanted to do it diagonal, so I grabbed a piece of white paper, cut it to the size I wanted to mat the stamped background, and then glue the 1" strips of colored cardstock I cut out in a diagonal fashion using Bearly Art glue. I then flipped it over, showing the white paper mat and cut the hanging card strips to the size of the white paper mat. It worked like a charm! Then, using Bearly Art glue, I glued the rainbow card panel to a 110lb card base, then popped the rainbow stamped Leafy background card panel using foam tape on top of the rainbow card panel. I then popped the Love you Bunches floral image with foam tape on top of the Leafy background using foam tape. I like the sentiment that comes with the Love you Bunches, so I found a scrap piece of black cardstock and heat embossed the image using my WOW Embossing pad and Ultra Fine White Embossing Power by Simon Says Stamp and cut it to size. I glued the sentiment onto the card panel so some leaves from the floral image would over hang a little. I then added some rainbow colored enamel dots that I had in my stash. I am in love with this card! I don't know if I will be able to part with it!
I hope all you momma's have a great day today, and  I will see you all later this week!
Happy Crafting Y'all!
