So I am IN LOVE with Unity Stamp Company's Layered Tulip Stencil and also their Slimline Layering Tulips stamp! For today's card, I used their Layered Tulip Stencil. This stencil is soooo easy to use! This is going to be a must have for anyone!!
Using a blending brush, I colored the first step of the stencil with Pixie Dust ink from Catherine Pooler. I then colored the second step of the stencil with Grape Crush ink from CP and then I moved onto the third and last step of the stencil using a combination of Lime Rickey and Grass Skirt ink from CP. The colors are so vibrant!! I then used a slimline die from Gina Marie Designs and cut the card panel out. I then used Gorgeous Grape cardstock from Stampin' Up to mat the card panel and then I glued the card panel onto a 110lb cardstock card base with Bearly Art Glue. I wanted to make this a Mother's Day card, so I die cut the sentiment out of fun foam and white cardstock using Elizabeth Craft Designs Words 3 - Happy Holidays die set. I then colored the white cardstock with the Pixie Dust CP ink and glue it onto the fun foam. I then added Glossy Accents by Ranger to add some added depth. I then added some rhinestone bling and that's it! It was so easy and it came out beautifully! This stencil is a must have!! Check out my blog tomorrow for how I colored the Slimline Layering Tulips stamp! Happy Crafting Y'all!! |
