Hi everyone!! It's Friday - YAY! It has been quite the week at work this week, so I have really enjoyed my COPIC coloring! Coloring is so relaxing for me. A friend/co-worker asked for a Get Well card, so I went through my stamps to see what I had and I came across Perfume Bouquet from Colorado Craft Company which was perfect! Coloring this image was so much fun!
First, I stamped the floral image with Hero Arts Intense Black ink and cut it out with the coordinating die and then starting coloring with COPIC colors V17, V15, V09, V04, V01, V000, RV04, RV02, YG67, YG25, YG01, Y24, Y18, and Y15. I then cut out a piece of 110lb cardstock with the Nordic die from The Greetery for my card panel. I wanted to add something to the card panel so I got out the Leafy Forest stencil from Ink On 3 and used Royal Treatment ink from Catherine Pooler to add some color using a blending brush. I then cut some Elegant Eggplant cardstock from Stampin' Up to mat the card panel and then glued them together using Bearly Art glue. I then glued the card panel to the 110lb white card base. I then popped up the flower bouquet using foam tape on the card panel. Using the coordinating die set from Colorado Craft Company, I cut out the square for the middle of the perfume bottle and stamped the Get Well Soon sentiment using Hero Arts Intense Black ink and then popped it up with some foam tape. I finished the look with some Boiled Sugar Hearts bling from Trinity Stamps. I really love how this card came together! Purple is her favorite color, so that was the main request...must be purple! I hope you all enjoy it and have a great weekend! Happy Crafting Y'all!! |
