When I first saw the Aloha Pineapple stamp set from Colorado Craft Company, all I could see was pink pineapples! With that said, I had to make a pink pineapple! I love this stamp set....anything tropical is quickly a favorite of mine! Because of the size of the pineapple, I decided to do a slimline card. Using black Memento ink, I stamped the pineapple image onto a 110lb Solar White Neenah cardstock and cut it out with the coordinating die from CCC. I then colored the pineapple using my Copic markers with the colors RV19, RV09, RV04, RV02, Y19, Y08, and Y06 until I achieved the coloring I wanted. I then stamped the sliced pineapple image with black Memento ink and colored the image with the same Copic marker colors, then cutting them out with the coordinating die. I then used the sentiment from the Tickled Pink Flamingo CCC stamp set and stamped the sentiment with Be Mine ink from Catherine Pooler. I then heat embossed the rest of the sentiment onto a scrap piece of black cardstock using WOW Embossing ink and white embossing power from Simon Says Stamp. For the background, I used a slimline background die from The Ton Slimline Colllection which I loved the contrast. I then put the card together by popping the pineapple and sentiment onto the card panel using foam tape. I then glued the card panel onto a piece of pink cardstock using Bearly Art glue and then glued that onto a 110lb black card base. I added some crystal bling to complete the look! It came out great and I hope you enjoy it as much as I do! Happy Crafting Y'all!!
