Rain or Shine!

Hey everyone!! For today's project, I wanted to play with the April's release from Catherine Pooler. I just love the bear in the Puddle Play stamp set! And that hedgehog! LOVE! I love the color combo of pink and brown, so that is the color palette of choice for this card.
First I decided I wanted to make a 5x7 card this time because the bear is a little tall and I wanted him to be under the clouds, so I went with a bigger card. I cut out some 110lb cardstock with my Tim Holtz Deckle trimmer and then found some brown cardstock and cut that with my Tim Holtz Decker trimmer to mat the white cardstock. Using It's a Girl ink from Catherine Pooler and the Cloud Edger stencil from Rabbit Hole Designs, I made some pink clouds. I then edged the card panel with some Party Dress ink to add some depth around the edges and corners. I then stamped some clouds from the April Showers stamp set with Party Dress ink and then heat embossed one cloud with Wow! embossing ink and Razzleberry powder. I then heat embossed some scattered rain drops on the card panel with Razzleberry powder using the rain drops from the Pitter Patterns stamp set. I then stamped the bear and hedgehog with Hero Arts Intense black ink and cut them out with the coordinating dies and then colored them with COPIC colors E59, E47, E44, E43, T6, T4, RV69, RV25, RV19, RV13. I then glued the card panel onto the brown cardstock mat using Bearly Art glue, and then glued the panel onto a 110lb white card base. I then popped the bear and hedgehog onto the card panel using foam tape, and then popped up the clouds. I then stamped the sentiment from Pitter Patterns stamp set onto a scratch piece of cardstock using Icing on the Cake ink from Catherine Pooler and popped it with foam tape. I then added some crystal pink and brown bling that I had in my stash. I love how it turned out! So cute!!!
