Shake Those Honey Bees!

Hey there! I just love shaker cards, so I decided to make one with the Hero Arts January 2021 Monthly kit. This kit is one of my favorite ones! If you don't subscribe to their monthly kits, it is a great way to get inspired! 
First, I stamped the bees with black Memento ink and cut them out with the coordinating dies, then I colored them with my Copic markers, Y19, Y08 and Y06. I then stamped a card panel with the Geometric Bee Pattern Bold Print background stamp by Hero Art using Sauna ink from Catherine Pooler. I then used the bee hive die in the monthly kit and positioned it where I waned the whole for the shaker card and die cut it out of the card panel. Using a blender brush, I blended the colors Tiara and Sauna from Catherine Pooler over the card panel. I then stamped the flower image and bee hive images with Sauna ink and the sentiment with Hero Arts Intense Black ink. I got a piece of acetate and glued it against the inside of the card panel using Bearly Art Glue. Using foam tape, I outlined the bee hive center, then poured black and white sequins over the window section. I then took the card panel that was stamped by the background stamp and put it on top to close in the sequins. I then glued the bees where I wanted them, and then glued the card panel onto a white 110lb card base. And there you have it! I love shaker cards!!
